Clipping My Wings
Clipping My Wings
I flew above clouds
To see sunshine
To touch clouds
To love the wind
While I flew
Up and above
The wind turned sour
The sunshine darkened
The clouds faded
My wings were strong
But all the sights
That I used to love
Were lost, tarnished
The breaths in me
Turned heavy
The blood in me
Was iced
I felt numbing
All I loved
Is now just a memory
A dream I saw in past
It seem now
I have no other choice
Than clipping my wings
So I may survive
The burden of my loss
